Save the Elephants works closely with the Elephant Protection Trust in conservation efforts, especially with the monitoring of collared elephants and human-elephant coexistence initiatives. These efforts support targeted interventions that address human-wildlife conflict, helping ensure the safety of both elephants and local communities within the project area.
Tsavo Trust partners with the Elephant Protection Trust work through desnaring activities and collaborative wildlife rescue operations, working alongside other partners in the Tsavo conservation area. The Elephant Protection Trust team shares information on emerging Tuskers and Super Tuskers.
Kenya Wildlife Service is a key partner of the Elephant Protection Trust, working alongside rangers in the Kasigau Corridor REDD+ Project to protect wildlife and respond to wildlife emergencies. The Kenya Wildlife Service provides and verifies official data on elephant numbers and recorded mortalities, as well as providing vital law enforcement support through the arresting of poachers and stepping in when additional security is needed to support our unarmed rangers.
Elephant Cooperation partners with the Elephant Protection Trust to support wildlife welfare by funding water infrastructure projects such as dams and solar-powered water points. These initiatives ensure reliable access to water for elephants and other animals, as well as mitigating human wildlife conflict. Elephant Cooperation also sponsor Football for Conservation initiatives and livelihood opportunities in Tsavo.
Creatura has been a valued partner and friend of the Elephant Protection Trust, providing critical assistance to the Air Wing team through engine rebuilds and major maintenance all to keep all our aircraft operational. Creatura has also donated a drone to assist with operations where needed.
Magnigyro, an aerospace company, is a reliable partner of the Elephant Protection Trust, supporting gyrocopter operations by providing aircraft and parts at affordable rates. This support is essential for effective aerial surveillance and conservation efforts in the field.
Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is a key partner working with the Elephant Protection Trust in wildlife rescue and rehabilitation. Sheldrick Wildlife Trust also supports other partners financially, strengthening conservation efforts across the Tsavo region.
Through his company, Rob’s Magic, Rob Collinge has supported the Elephant Protection Trust’s aerial surveillance team by donating a gyrocopter.
