Nick Taylor
Wildlife Works Country Manager
Nick Taylor is an experienced conservation leader with extensive expertise in strategic and operational management. For more than four years, he has led the overall management of the Wildlife Works Kasigau Project in Kenya, providing strategic direction and overseeing the delivery of conservation, community, and operational programmes. Nick brings a deep commitment to landscape-scale conservation, supporting the long-term protection of elephants and the communities that coexist with them.
Edward Pirie
Wildlife Works Operations Manager
Edward is an experienced operations leader with expertise in organisational management, team coordination, and continuous improvement. Edward brings practical leadership, sound operational oversight, and a commitment to good governance in support of the Elephant Protection Trust’s mission to protect elephants and promote sustainable conservation.
Cara Braund
Wildlife Works Conservation Manager
Cara Braund has been working in the Tsavo ecosystem for more than 15 years, and has a strong commitment to conservation, ethical governance, and creating lasting positive impact. Passionate about protecting wildlife, conserving biodiversity, and partnering with local community members, Cara is particularly dedicated to the conservation of elephants and the ecosystems they depend on. As a trustee, she is committed to helping the Elephant Protection Trust strengthen its governance, expand its impact, and advance its mission to protect elephants for future generations.
Constance Mwake Mwandaa
Wildlife Works Head of Training
Constance Mwake Mwandaa is a conservation leader with over 15 years of experience in wildlife protection. Since joining Wildlife Works as a Ranger in 2011, she has helped safeguard the Kasigau Corridor in Kenya's Tsavo ecosystem through frontline conservation and anti-poaching efforts. Now Head of Ranger Training, she leads the development of more than 100 rangers and is passionate about building strong leadership within the ranger team. Constance also mentors women and girls in her community, encouraging greater participation in conservation. She brings practical conservation expertise, leadership, and a deep commitment to protecting elephants and supporting community-led conservation.
In Memoriam: Rob Dodson
Late Wildlife Works VP African Operations
On Mar 3, 2017 we lost Rob suddenly and tragically from natural causes. He was the heart and soul of Wildlife Works in Tsavo, and will be forever missed.
